Ok so two weeks ago (halloween) i had a killer weekend and went out to celebrate with my friends. i was throwing back vodka's thinking that they would cut off alcohol at the usual time (2 am) having forgotten completely that the clocks were to be turned back...So i wound up getting totally shit faced and we actually left that club with me under the impression that they must have served us liquor well past the legal time.... Into some strip club we wound up, and i begun my usual routine of guzzling water like a fish!!! My friend said i drunk about 4 to 5 bottles of water (and no i wasnt high on Xtasy)...Any way i remember one thing, i went back home and i went to the bathroom like 8 or so times that morning...)

Come monday morning, i went to the gym and i found i had lost 4 pounds (down from 211 to 207, slow progress but it is progress non the less)

i have to say however that i had changed my running routine by increasing the amount of time i spend on the tread mill (ie 30 minutes) regardless of actual distance covered...

So i figure i combination of longer time spent on the tread mill along with some vodka slinging action helped me drop 4 pounds in a weekend.

Ps..For those always whinning about hangovers, i drunk a whole lot of vodka that weekend but after guzzling all that water i had no hangovers at all, and totally no ill effects of alcohol...(I am not saying one should drink that much water after a hard night out, but 2 bottles seem to do the trick for me on regular drinking weekends.... truth be told if we hadnt gone to the strip club i would have gone home and drunk may be one bottle and passed out)

Good story, sounded like a fun night; although I doubt we see any medical experts agree with you...haha.
